U.K. Trade Balance

As U.K’s Office for National Statistics reported today, seasonally adjusted trade deficit in goods increased to 7.5 billion pounds in January, up from 7.2 billion previous month.

Today’s reading is still lower than 7.8 billion pounds of deficit expected.

As for trade balance in services report showed GBP 5.8 billion surplus, down from 6 billion in December.

Both imports and exports prices of goods increased in January by respectively 0.9% and 0.8%.
