UK CPI rises at higher peak ever; 5.2%

Consumer Price Index stands out as it was reported at 5.2% for the annual inflation reports in the United Kingdom. United Kingdom’s CPI was estimated to announce a rise from previous August value of 4.5% to 4.9% in September; instead the report turned out much higher than anticipated at 5.2% for the current release of September 2011.

U.K released Consumer Price Indices earlier today, measuring the change in the price of goods and services purchased by consumers. The release was expected at 4.5% as May’s CPI, rather than 4.2% that was the actual report released today for June.

UK CPI was realaed this morning with lower results than expected by 50%. The prediction was 0.6% while only 0.3% was given. This pushes a fall in infaltion for the first time since July 2010.
