ECB won’t let Greece fall

The Euro is taking a bit of a hit in today’s trading session, as the 17 nation currency traded 0.5% down from yesterday’s session, at 1.4477 against the Dollar.

United Kingdom’s Manufacturing PMI was released earlier today to a lower rate than initially expected. Purchasing Managers’ Index was predicted to rise even more than May’s release of 52.0, at 52.2. Instead the Index fell lower than previous announcement and lower than expected, at 51.3.

Initial Claims in the United States was announced at 428,000; higher than 419,000 as it was predicted by economists. The release wasn’t so bad, as the number of individuals filing for unemployment were 1,000 less than last week; which has 429,000 individuals who claimed unemployed.

The Euro/Dollar pair was seen trading as high as 1.4424 in today’s session. The pair tumbled down later on to trade at the current price of 1.4460. The lowest level recorded today 1.4457.
