Inflation in U.K. down to 3.0%…

The Office for National Statistics informed today that inflation level in U.K. increased by 0.6% in April. The change follows 0.3% gain in March.

On yearly basics CPI declined to 3.0% in April, instead of reaching at least 3.1% estimated by economists.
Reading in March 2012 showed CPI at 3.5%.
So called Core CPI (excluding volatile items) also recorded decrease to 2.1%, comparing with April 2011.
After report release couple GBP/USD was traded at 1.5814.
