US markets closed mixed with the S&P 500 lower
US markets closed mixed with the S&P 500 lower as oil related stocks fell on a drop in crude prices after the IMF cut its growth forecasts for the US and Japan.
The CME ended some 70-points below yesterday's Tokyo cash finish. The DXY was a touch lower at around 75.03 with the EUR 0.3% lower at around 1.4436 and the YEN 0.2% firmer at around 84.60.
The CRB ended a seven-session winning streak with a 0.7% decline as crude oil fell 3.3%, copper and silver were 1% weaker, gold was 0.7% lower while aluminium gained 1.7% and nickel was 3% higher.
