Greece to resume talks with Troika in 10 days

Discussions between Greece and the Troika (ECB, EU, IMF) on whether or not Greece has met the conditions required for a ‘new aid tranche’ is put on hold and will reportedly resume on the 14th of September; as announced by the Greek Minister of Finance, Evangelos Venizelos.

The Labor Department in the United States released the actual figure of unemployment claims for the week ending August 27th. Jobless claims in the U.S fell by 12,000, as economists had expected.
