Greece to resume talks with Troika in 10 days

Discussions between Greece and the Troika (ECB, EU, IMF) on whether or not Greece has met the conditions required for a 'new aid tranche' is put on hold and will reportedly resume on the 14th of September; as announced by the Greek Minister of Finance, Evangelos Venizelos.

An official said that the 2011 budget deficit will be 8.6% of the Gross Domestic Product, the least.

Yesterday, Thursday 1st of September, Athens confessed it would miss its budget target this year.
