The euro sold off from highs after the European Central Bank’s widely expected interest rate rise and a broad sell-off in the yen stalled.

ECB rates the benchmark rate by 25 bps points. This means the Main refinancing operations (fixed rate) is now 1.25%, Marginal lending facility is now 2.00% and the Deposit facility is now 0.50%
