For the week ended March 10th Labor Department reported today a decrease in initial unemployment claims by 14 000 from prior week revised 365 000.
The less volatile, four weeks average claims remained unchanged at 355 750.
Successively decreasing jobless claims might indicate an improvement in American labor market.
