U.K’s construction activity increase more than forecasted…

March brought to British construction sector unexpectedly high increase. Not only PMI remained in expansion area, it improved far more than forecasted.

As Markit and CIPS reported today U.K’s construction Purchasing Managers’ Index grew by 2.4 points to total at 56.7.

February’s reading showed 54.3 and economist forecasted only 0.8% gain for March.

56.7 points is the highest level of PMI in last 21 months.

The couple GBP/USD was traded at 1.6026 after news release.
