U.K. industrial production down by 0.4% in January

Industrial production in U.K. fell by seasonally adjusted 0.4% in January, after 0.4% growth recorded in December.

Economist forecasted 0.3% increase in January.

In a yearly capture industrial production fell by 3.8% following December’s decline by 3.1%- informed Office for National Statistics.

Also French statistics office Insee reported today that country’s industrial output in January increased by seasonally adjusted 0.3% after significant decline by 1.3% in December.

Economists counted for 0.5% index growth.

 Comparing with previous year industrial production fell by 1.5% in January, which is more than 1.1% expected.
