Italian short term bills sold

On Wednesday for the first time since ECB lent 490 billion euros to European banks, Italian Treasury sold bills.

The government sold 9 billion EUR of six-month debt at an average yield of 3.25%, down from previous month’s auction at 6.50%

The euro reminded unchanged against all major counterparts after news release, with couples traded at: EUR/CHF 1.2205, EUR/GBP 0.8348, EUR/USD 1.3072.
