German unemployment rate at 6.7%.
The unemployment rate in Germany decline to seasonally adjusted 6.7% in March, while analysts expected it to hold steady at 6.8% recorded in February.
It is the lowest jobless rate level in two decades.
The country’s Federal Statistics Office informed that number of Germans seeking for employment decrease by 18 000. Data about previous month was revised to 3 000 decline.
Meanwhile economists estimated reading lower by only 10 000 in March.
German unemployment report had positive impact on euro, which remained stronger against USD at 1.3331.
