EU is planning next budget…
Cyprus Presidency concluded consultations with EU countries on the 2014-20 budget. Differences of opinion between countries are bigger than previously thought. In November it will be necessary organize an additional EU summit
Cyprus held in July meetings with ministers of all EU countries responsible for negotiating new EU budget for the years 2014-20.
For some countries the most important thing is the size of their contributions – they do not want to grow over the current budget for 2007-13. Given these huge differences in the positions of countries in the EU calendar already planned additional emergency summit of EU leaders in November.
