Canadian Gross Domestic Product contracted in November 2011 by seasonally adjusted 0.1%.
October output showed no gain and stayed at 0.0%.
Analysts estimated 0.2% increase for November.
According to Statistic Canada annually economy grows at 2.0% pace, down from 2.7% reading in October.
Separate report showed that county’s IPPI fell by 0.7% in December. The raw materials price index (RMPI) decreased to negative 2.4%.
The couple USD/CAD was traded at 0.9985 at the time of news release.
