Australian unemployment rate surprisingly down in March.

The unemployment rate in Australia decreased unexpectedly in March after employers added 44 000 new jobs.

As Australian Bureau of Statistics reported today jobless rate reached 5.2%. Analysts forecasted gain to 5.3% in March.

Country’s employment gained 44 000 new jobs despite expectations for only 6 500.

In February employment change index reported decrease by 15 400.
