U.K's retail sales which measure the change in the total value of inflation-adjusted sales were released less than expected in July.  July 2011 reported sales volume in the U.K at 0.2%, lower than economists forecasted at 0.3% and a lot lower than June's 2011 retail sales report.

Sales volume remained unchanged in July 2011 compared to July 2010.

Up from 24.9 billion Pounds in July 2010, an estimated 26 billion Pounds was spend on retailed goods in July of this year (2011).
