United States Core Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index was released earlier today, at a better rate than generally expected.  Previous and May's predicted perentage for the Consumer Price Index was calculated to come out at 0.2%; instead the Index rose to 0.3% for May.

Consumer Spending however, dropped from 0.3% to 0.0% in May.  Expectations were that Consumer Spending would drop slighly less than 0.3%, at 0.2%.  Along with the above figures, Personal Spending (Disposable Person Income) was released at 0.3% in May, steady as previous month even though expectations hoped for 0.4% in May.

The USD reacted calmly to the news, as no big change was seen.

EUR/USD is currently trading at 1.4225.  GBP/USD is at 1.5971.
