U.K: Public sector net borrowing deficit up in February.
According to report of Office for National Statistics, U.K’s net public sector borrowing deficit increased to GBP12.9 billion in February.
Today’s reading brings a surprise for analysts, who expected only 5.2 billion pounds deficit.
January’s reading was revised today to GBP10.2 billion of negative balance.
Another measurement preferred more by government officials- public sector net borrowing excluding financial interventions totaled at 15.2 billion pounds, after reaching 8.9 billion year earlier.
Later on today, release of British annual budget is expected.
