U.K House prices rise by 0.3%
Month on month change between June 2011 and July 2011 for House Prices in the United Kingdom increased by 0.3%. Forecast by economists predicted halifax HPI around 0.1%, while previous figure showed 1.5%. The 0.3% increase is the third month in a row of increases.
The quarterly change was 0.5 higher than the previous quarter. The average price for a home in the U.K is 163,980 British pounds.
Furthermore, the change in the price of goods and raw materials purchased by manufactureres was released at 0.6%, as forecasted; raising from previous release of 0.2%.
