Tokyo’s consumer prices fell

Official data presented today by the Statistics Bureau says that Tokyo’s Consumer prices excluding fresh food slid 0.1%.

Consumer Price Index (CPI) shows changes in the price of goods and services purchased by consumers (excluding fresh food).

Tokyo’s Core CPI Ex Fresh Food costs fell to a rate of -0.5% from-0.4% in previous month.
Although expectations for CPI were to rise to -0.3% last month.

YPJ declined to a 2-day low of 77.55 against the US dollar.
Against the Euro, Yen slipped to 103.28 and it fell to 119.95 against the GBP.
