The TIC purchases of long term securities index represents the difference between foreign securities purchased by American citizens and US securities purchased by foreigners during the period.
February’s reading of index showed today a significant decline to total of 10.1 billion dollars.
As Department of Treasury confirmed in the afternoon January’s data was revised to USD102.4 billion.
