The Consumer Price Inflation in U.S. rose 0.2%
After no change of consumer prices recorded in December today’s report showed a 0.2% gain in January.
It is below expectations for 0.3% growth.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics informed that comparing with prior year consumer prices inflation grew 2.9%.
Core CPI month-to-month data showed increase of 0.2% and in a yearly capture 2.5%, in line with expectations.
