Spain sinks in unemployment

The total amount of jobless people in Spain reached in the end of December 5 273 600. That gives 22.85% of population in economically active age.
Unemployment rate showed today by INE is the highest since 1995.
Unemployment is especially afflicting young people, under 25 years old. In December 51.4% of them did not work.
The amount of families, where all members are unemployed also rose in last quarter of 2011.
The employment increase is a main target or Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy. He urged traders and labor unions to help with rescue labor market situation.
