Positive reading of retail sales volume in U.K.

The Office for National Statistics in U.K. informed today that country’s retail sales increased in May. Index climbed up by 1.4%, after dropping by 2.4% in April.
Economists forecasted reading of 1.1% increase.
Comparing with 2011 volume of retail sales increased by 2.4%.
The couple GBP/USD was traded at 1.5690 after report release.
