Japan: Trade Balance

Japan reported for the first time in 31 years trade deficit. According to Japanese government deficit was amounted for 25 billion euro.
In 2011 total export fell by 2.7% and import increased by 12%.

The reasons why deficit appeared are strong currency and high energy costs.
Besides, country is still managing results of disastrous earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.
