Iranian government announced yesterday that country halted oil exports to French and British companies.

As a reaction for that decision prices of crude oil rose to eight-month high today, reaching almost 122 dollars a barrel.

Yesterday’s Iranian move was retribution to an EU embargo. As from 1st of July Brussels’ officials decided to stop importing oil from Iran until country will compromise over controversial nuclear program.
