Inflation in Canada fell by 0.1% in May.
As Statistics Canada informed today consumer price inflation declined by seasonally adjusted 0.1%, after gaining 0.4% in April.
Over last 12 months prices in Canada rose 1.2% in May. The change follows 2.0% gain in April.
So called core CPI (excluding volatile items) increased in May by seasonally adjusted 0.2%, instead of 0.4% estimated.
