Industrial production in Euro area grows again

As Eurostat reported today industrial production in euro zone rose by seasonally adjusted 0.2% in January, after declining by 1.1% in December.

Economists estimated 0.6% growth for the first month of 2012.

Year-to-year industrial production fell by 1.2%, which is more than 0.8% expected.

For the whole EU, on a monthly basics, index also increased by 0.2%.

In a yearly capture 27 countries recorded decline of 1.0% in January.
