French CPI rises more than expected

The French Institute Insee reported today that country’s CPI increased by seasonally adjusted 0.8% in March, after gaining 0.4% in February.
In this area analysts expected a growth of 0.6%.

Comparing with 2011 March brought 2.3% increase in consumer price index.

The biggest rise was recorded in prices of fuel and food items.
