British inflation reached 3.5% in March.

The U.K’s yearly inflation level reached 3.5% in March- Office for National Statistics reported today.

It is the first increase in last six month. February’s reading showed CPI’s level at 3.4%.

The Bank of England, the same as ECB targeted consumer price index at 2.0% at the end of the year.

The Core index improved also from 2.4% to 2.5% in March.

USD remained lower against British pound after data release. The couple was traded at 1.5946.
