U.K Gross Domestic Product rose by 0.5%
The GBP climbed higher versus the USD right after the results of United Kingdom's Gross Domestic Product expansion were released. U.K's GDP increased by 0.5% for the first quarter of the year, after decreasing by the same amount on the fourth (and last) quarter of 2010; as the National Statistic Online reports announced.
The British Pound jumped by approximately 0.4% against the U.S Dollar from 1.6450 line and is currently trading at 1.6560.
